Dexter founded Tiny Homes Raleigh in 2020 when Raleigh first passed its ADU law. Throughout his 3 years running the company, Tiny Homes Raleigh became one of the leading build & design firms of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Tiny Homes in the area. Dexter has permitted & built 10 ADUs in Raleigh, was selected into Raleigh’s ADU Fast-Track Program, and has been featured on the local news numerous times about ADUs.
Starting Dexft LLC has been a dream come true dedicating his time & energy to consulting with developers, real estate investors, and the City of Raleigh to bring more housing and density to in-fill properties across the City.
Dexter was born and raised in Raleigh and graduated from NC State University. Dexter is the Co-Chair of the Mordecai CAC and loves biking around downtown!
